In this course, Michelle Navarrete explores the values in the interpretative choices that mujerista evangélicas make when analyzing and appropriating passages of Scripture. The student will walk through specific passages in the Bible, picking out themes that encompass this holistic gospel message. This course offers a refreshing perspective that demonstrates the necessity for marginalized voices in biblical interpretation.

Course Objectives

Identify a mujerista evangélica theological method and the interpretative choices & values therein.
Analyze the questions that arise from the reader’s own personal lens.
Appropriate a number of biblical passages from key themes of the overarching metanarrative with a mujerista evangélica interpretative lens.
